I said all along it would be a quiet morning and look at that it was a quiet morning. There were a few slow areas for the commuters working today but overall it was a much lighter than normal commute. The worst crash was on 88th Ave at I-76 involving a pedestrian.

Police are on roads looking for drunk drivers. There are many saturation patrols and checkpoints planned for the holiday weekend in most of the state. With the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, Rockies games, Rapids games, and the first weekend for Sunday liquor sales there could be an increased number of drunk drivers on the road.
