Week 25 Ultrasound
Every month I get an ultrasound because of the twins. It’s kind of the benefit of having two as I hear most women with just one only get two to three ultrasounds during their entire pregnancy.
It is the most amazing experience as you watch them move inside of you. I am fascinated by their little hearts. You can actually see all four chambers pulsating. And then there are the girls’ tiny ribs and fingers.

Ultrasounds are the reality of what lies ahead. It’s the first sneak peak into the lives of our little ones!
Now, with that said….sometimes they look a little alien-like instead of human-like. I find this especially true the farther along I get as the two are squished together. Although we did get a great profiled shot of Baby “A”.

AWESOME!!!! Thanks for sharring your special time with all of us.Happy growing…..
OMG DC…this are amazing to see. I’m so happy to see them!! Thanks for sharing.
You look so adorable on TV and this is so exciting to see these ultrasounds !! I find it so wonderful that you are sharing this with ALL of us !!!! Keep up the good work !
Congratulations! I just found your blog.
I had maybe 12 or 15 ultrasounds with my baby because I was an “older” mom (36) with other issues and so was high risk. I loved watching the videos on such a frequest basis.
I hope you are sleeping more. You know, after the baby comes, it’s never the same again. Even when the baby “sleeps through the night,” you still wake up and listen for the crying. Then, they get big enough to crawl out of bed and in with you. Now, mine is 17 and I wait for him to come home at night….
Enjoy this wonderful time.
Hi Dayle.
I don’t know if your’s have done this yet, or will, but the funniest thing to me was when I would go one month and they’d be laying the opposite direction of each other…with their feet in each other’s faces, then the next time, both their heads were on the same side! I always wondered how they got turned around in there. hehe. I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy and your journey ahead! All children are blessings, but twins are double the blessing and oh so different. You look great!!! Hang in there and cannot wait to see your beautiful baby girls.
I have watched your station for years, and thinks it’s awesome to keep your viewers in tune with your lives. I have twin boys that just turned 11 and a 9 year old son. I just wanted to share that yes, I so agree that it’s awesome to get ultrasounds EVERY month! I have a stack about 1/2 and inch tall. I missed that with my 3rd son. It’s amazing to see twins and know that those little bodies are growing in you.
Dayle,
How exciting and wonderful for you and your husband! I think its great that we can all share this special time with you!! (Thanks for sharing with us! )
Enjoy every minute of every day now and after those beautiful baby girls are born!! The time will pass as quickly as your pregnancy is going!!
Best of luck to you all… I will keep checking the blog to keep up to date. I am looking forward to seeing those beautiful baby daughters of yours!!
Congratulations to you! I just found your blog and I am thrilled for you. As I read what you are going through I am going down memory lane. My twins are 2 1/2 now and with my 4 year old I am usually running crazy.
I wish you the best of luck and two healthly baby girls. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful story!
This will be the biggest challenge of your life ( I find this out everyday) but worth every moment!
Dayle,
Wow…congrats on your new additions to your family. And, thanks for sharing your special blessings with everyone. I’m the proud Aunt of 8 beautiflul little ones that have changed my life, completely. And, there is not a day that I don’t look at them and think, Wow, now there’s proof that there is a God. Children are definately little blessings from above.
I couldn’t agree with you more about the babymoon. My husband and I spent 10 days in Hawaii when I was about 20 weeks into my twin pregnancy. It was an incredible break for both of us, and we got to spend a lot of time just focusing on each other and these little beings that will soon be making their debut. (I am now 35 weeks.) We actually chose the names for two girls while lying on a beach in Maui! (We don’t know what we are having, so we have to come up with two boys names and two girls names just in case.) It was an incredibly special time for us and I recommend it to anyone who is expecting.
Congratulations on your twins, Dayle, I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy and delivery, and I am looking forward to the announcement of the arrival of your twin princesses!
