How sweet to have twins. I too have twins, the first time I went in for my ultrasound,
I was 4 and half months pregnant. The tech said oh there are two heads, And I thaught oh my goodness I am going to have a two headed baby. Then I started thinking what am I going to do. But in the end it turned out to be seperate sacs, one was a boy and the other was a girl. My husband and I named them Gabriel Aaron and Rebekah Ann. They are now 5and half years old and just graduated from pre-school yesterday. And now yhey are looking forward to going to kindegarten this fall.
About names I have always liked the unique ones like our oldest son Jeduthun.
So enjoy every minute with your twins, because before you know they too will be going off to kindegarten.

So when it came to naming my kids, I decided to simply let their names come to me. What it was was simply that my son’s name fell into the “traditional” honor of the family. His is Timothy Michael. Michael is my dad’s name. Then came my girls. After my divorce and my new (wow it’s been 11 years and I’m still saying “new”! That’s LOVE! LOL!) love and I found ourselves expecting, the way we decided on the names was that we wanted unique. He liked the name Ariana. I didn’t like the common spelling of it so we changed it to Aryanna. Then we started playing with matching middle names to the first name. Here’s the thing we had to keep in mind, kids, as they get older tend to tease and are generally mean because they test the limits. So we also looked at how many different ways we could change our children’s names by thinking like kids. It’s hard to make fun of Aryanna unless someone calls her an “air-head” and that’s not so bad. Her middle name turned out to be Rose. Aryanna Rose. She loves her name! My youngest, I wanted to call Elizabeth Kathleen (Kathleen was my grandmother’s name so this was in honor of my grandmother and her fight with cancer.) So again, we went to the drawing table and did the same thing. Elizabeth became Alyssa (a form of Elizabeth) and Kathleen stuck. Alyssa Kathleen. At first I beat my head against a rubber wall trying to read the books of a bazillion baby names but finally, I gave it up and simply allowed the kids to in essence, name themselves. It’ll happen and whatever names you choose, they’ll be beautiful. My kids love their names which I find quite rare so I’m thankful. Best of luck.

As for the nursery… I tossed my hands up and didn’t bother. Now that my kids are older, I simply have let them choose the colors of their rooms and they’ve helped us to paint. The best advice is… Grab some iced tea and kick back. It’ll all come together.
